Beaverton Foods, Inc.

Beaverton Foods, Inc., a long-established gourmet condiment and sauce manufacturer, needed room for expansion but was located in the heart of a busy Portland suburb. CEO Bill Small knew it was time to find a new home when the city informed him that a future road was scheduled to come through the property.

The entire process (design modifications and construction) took only 14 months, even with special corrosion-resistant materials needed because of the high-acid products in the plant. The 82 employees at the family-owned business now have a spacious 70,000-square-foot plant, 10,000-square-foot office, and room to grow if expansion is needed.
